Entrance Requirements And Procedures

Application Form

Complete the online application form available on the Itz'at STEAM Academy website.

  • Upload a copy of the applicant’s social security card or other identification document.
  • Provide evidence of good conduct and satisfactory academic performance through letters of recommendation from the principal and the standard six English and Math teachers of the primary school.
Submit the application by the specified deadline, typically in late April.
If there are more applicants than spaces, priority will be given to students between the ages of 11-13, and those who reside in Belize City.
  • Letters of acceptance from the principal's office are sent to qualifying students.
  • Applicants who applied but did not receive a letter of acceptance may request to be placed on a waiting list.
  • All prospective students and at least one of their parents/guardians must attend the academy's official registration and orientation for new first formers.
  • Proof of nationality of the prospective student being enrolled must be submitted at the time of registration.
  • Parents of incoming first form students must pay a portion of their child's fee ($225) upon registration to secure a space at Itz'at STEAM Academy. This payment is due in June.
  • The remainder of the fee must be paid by September 30. Parents will receive an invoice from the accounts office detailing the fee structure.
  • A copy of the school's official supplies list will be provided after registration has been paid at the orientation meeting held in June with incoming students and parents at the ISA main office from 9:00 am - 11:00 am.
All applicants and one of their parents/guardians must sign and submit to the principal's office the student's discipline agreement and cellular phone agreement by mid-September of the current school year.
